Sorbonne University has a very definite international reach. It participates in 62 European programmes in the 7th PRCD: coordinating 5 and member of 25. It is a partner to 79 international research laboratories including 41 in Europe, 15 in Asia and 7 in North America.  Sorbonne University has developed 2,500 exchange programmes:      

- 1,555 ERASMUS programmes,     

- 669 other exchange programmes (integrated training sessions, or double diplomas)      

- 290 PhDs in joint guardianship: 70% with Europe, 20% with America, 7% with Asia and 3% with Africa and the Middle East.
