Neuromuscular disease: a children’s institute

The I-Motion clinical trial platform, devoted to studying neuromuscular disease in children, opened its doors on February 18, 2016 at Hôpital Trousseau in Paris.

This institute – established jointly by AFM-Téléthon, Assistance Publique/Hôpitaux de Paris, the Institute of Myology, and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (a founding member of Sorbonne University) – offers an environment designed for young patients participating in clinical trials. This platform meets the new needs created by the emergence of treatments for diseases long considered incurable.
